A pleasant day. Mrs. S. C. Dawes came down on train. She is still very feeble and had to go on to the bed as soon as she got here. Col. & Mrs. Dawes came with her. They went to walk on the hill and spent the evening at Mr. Burgess’s.
Col. Dawes is talking of going into the sheep business with William.
