I went to Sabbath School and meeting. Mr. Curtis is absent. Rev. Mr. Adkins (Baptist) preached an excellent sermon from the text “If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine” -- He prayed for Gen. Grant by name, and also gave thanks for the success of Gen. Sherman in Georgia.
